The people that we love and cherish, a wife, a husband, the children, our mothers, fathers, siblings, Best friends forever and the list goes on. All in all they are the relationships that give value and meaning to our lives.
The Stories of such people in our lives deserve to be told, and it is important to tell these stories in a memorable way. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, I like my stories to be very vivid and descriptive, hence why I try to capture that in my portraits.

Sister Dupe Olaniyan marked an important milestone recently, and she decided to have the Makeover Family Portrait Session to document the occasion.

Happy Birthday! How I long to say those words to you again. It’s been almost seven years now, since you departed and not a day has gone by that I don’t think of you. The thought could come from anything, a lady walking in the street that looks just like you or has your eyes. The freshness of Sunday morning market; what I would give to have you drag me out to those car boot sales again.

If I could buy a wish, it would be that you were still here, to see Christian’s smile. It’s just like yours and his enquiring eyes, they remind me so much of you. How I wish you had met them. Dominique looks nothing like our side of the fam, but her character is one in a million. I know she would have you eating her every words, and doing exactly what she wants. I tell them both about ‘my mum’ as I regularly refer you to them.

Life’s been tough and good at the same time, I know you know I changed profession now, I feel your encouragement all the way. I feel you lead me to it anyway, you always used to love taking photographs all those family studio trips throughout the years, and I used to collect all the old family photos, still got most of them and I’ll always cherish them.

I wish you were here to share your stories with me one more time, and tell me all the silver lining stories. They sure have come in handy during those trying times. All your advise and wise words, they ring so true and I now fully understand and appreciate them. Now I truly know Mother really does know best.

It had romance, Comedy and loads of action. It was a lovely sunny day and we made a great day of it at Holland Park. On our way to the park, we noticed this vibrantly coloured Elephant, and decided to take a picture by it. It wasn’t until a couple of days later I found out about the Baby Asian elephants statues organised by The Elephant Family (A UK based Charity) involved in raising money and awareness for the protection of the elephants. The Statues are placed all over London. So go look for one, take a picture and make a donation. In light of  the Football World Cup starting soon, Ken and Felicia decided to have a friendly match of their own to predict the outcome of the game, should Nigeria have to play Ghana,below are pictures from the day, but as they say ‘All is fair in Love and War’!
